XV350 Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher

Terex Pegson, part of the Westport, Conn.-based Terex Group, has introduced the XV350 vertical shaft impact crusher. It features the Terex Canica 2050 GD VSI crusher on the Terex Pegson I-Beam chassis with heavy-duty crawler undercarriage. The plant is ideal for the manufacturing of sand and can produce up to 350 tons per hour. It is powered by a 438-horsepower Caterpillar C13 engine with a self-adjusting HFO clutch and fuel efficient direct drive system. The crusher has an Automatic Lubrication System (ALS) with temperature and flow analysis. The VSI is fitted with a shoe and anvil arrangement, which is interchangeable to a total of six different crusher configurations, depending on application requirements. The Hardox-fixed feed hopper with crash bars has a lowering rear door that allows the plant to be fed by any other Terex Pegson crusher on flat ground. A touch screen control panel operates the crusher/engine speed, oil pump, discharge and feed conveyors and crusher level controls. Other features include an integrated Measured Feed Regulation (MFR) system for optimum feeding, metal detection system, wide variable speed feed belt with hydraulic raise and lower, Lid Lifting Mechanism (LLM) for quick and safe change-out, and spray bars with atomizer nozzles for dust suppression at the crusher mouth, product conveyor feed and discharge end. Optional extras include feed hopper extension plates, radio remote control, electric refueling pump kit, directional hood, single idler belt weigher with integrator and speed-sensing wheel, and an additional level sensor over the feed hopper for applications where the plant may be underfed.
