To meet the rising demand for a compact plant with low weight, with optimal transport dimensions and a surpassing performance, the Rockster Team start working on the new concept and developed a new plant, the Rockster R700S Impact crusher in shortest time.
"Having had more and more inquiries from our distribution partners for a plant with optimal transport dimensions and low weight, but being fully mobile and able to handle also difficult applications, we have put together all our creative heads and worked out the first concept,“ says Wolfgang Kormann, CEO of Rockster Recycler. "The task was well defined and we also wanted to incorporate technical features, which are already well proven on our bigger plants, like the hydrostatic drive and the possibility to expand the machine with the optional screening system.“
Through the compact construction of the R700S - length 9 m, width 2.4 m and height 3 m - and the low weight of 19.9 tons, the plant is easy to transport and moved from one jobsite to another in shortest time. Also on the jobsite itself, the mobile crusher is flexible and therefore the perfect solution for applications on lowest space as on inner city jobsites.
But the Rockster R700S comes also up with some technical finesses, as the hydrostatic drive, which allows an infinitely adjustment of the crusher speed and therefore guarantees an optimal modification of the final grain quality. Furthermore in comparison to usual clutch systems, the hydrostatic drive has no wear.
The new designed Impact crusher R70 convinces with a performance up to 140 tons/hour with an inlet opening of 710 x 650 mm and was also equipped with some technical improvements like the enforced rotor and the flipped wear plates, which thus are multiple exchangeable what effects a reduction of the wear costs. The adjustment of the swing beams is now effective through an elevating screw instead of the usual distance plates which enables an infinitely gap adjustment.
The optional Rockster Screening system - consisting of Screenbox RS73 and the return belt RB65 - makes the R700S a complete package for the production of high quality grain in one workflow and this also on lowest space.
Like the whole product range of the Rockster crushing plants, the R700S is also equipped with large-scale covers which allow an optimal accessibility for service and maintenance and furthermore ensure the optimal ventilation of the drive-unit and the cooler.
