Chicago Pneumatic, Commerce City, Colo., has introduced the 40-pound-class CP1210 pneumatic handheld breaker, designed to deliver 90 percent of the hitting power of a 60-class breaker.
The CP1210 breaker features a swivel design for reported increased maneuverability and a piston with lubrication grooves. The handheld tool is available with different shanks and in vibro-reduced, silenced, and un-silenced versions.
The breaker features a four-bolt back head design to help it withstand rugged use. Heavy-duty front head springs are designed to reduce reaction back to operator.
The breakers have been designed for light- to medium-construction and plant maintenance work—such as light demolition of floors, pavements and roads, as well as various other service jobs.
