General Kinematics Corp. (GK), Crystal Lake, Ill., has introduced the CD-Express, which it is calling “an economical entry-level system” for recyclers of mixed C&D (construction and demolition) materials.
The company says CD-Express is designed for recyclers processing 150 cubic yards per hour or less of mixed C&D materials. “The portable CD-Express system can be set up in one day, and with the addition of GK's De-Stoner Air classifier recyclers can divert up to 90 percent of their recyclable material,” the company states in a news release.
Features of the CD-Express product include:
· GK’s Para-Mount II two-mass vibratory feeder for system loading and presentation to the sorting system;
· Low-horsepower, high-throughput GK Finger-Screen to remove fines for ADC (alternative daily cover) or other applications;
· A platform system designed to be easy to assemble and to use roll-off containers or hoppers for contained material separation;
· Customization of systems to meet individual requirements and backed by what GK calls “a 100 percent process guarantee.”
General Kinematics Corp. markets, designs, and custom-fabricates vibratory materials handling and processing equipment. The company produces equipment for bulk processing of materials in the foundry, recycling, scrap, mining, minerals, food, chemical and wood industries.
