Yanmar Compact Equipment, a Grand Rapids, Minnesota-based construction equipment manufacturer, has introduced the ViO35-7 mini excavator. The excavator features significant productivity, configuration and operator experience improvements over previous models, the company says.
With a 24.4-horsepower true zero tail swing, the excavator includes 360-degree visibility, a 25 percent increase in travel speed under load and a 7 percent improvement in excavator efficiency. The excavator was designed for job sites of all sizes in construction, rental, utilities, landscaping and more.
“This new iteration of the ViO35 elevates both what operators can do and their experience while doing it,” says Zac Evans, mini excavator product manager for Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. “Yanmar listened to customers and delivered an upgraded model that’s easier to use and move around the jobsite. The ViO35-7 brings new levels of productivity while maintaining unbeatable reliability.”
Key features include:
- A 3-pump hydraulic system for less risk of slowing down during simultaneous operations
- Increased maneuverability and 25 percent faster travel speeds under load
- An auto kickdown feature built into the two-speed operation for easy transition to slower tasks.
The 8,047-pound ViO35-7 boasts improved productivity and performance feature, Yanmar says, including increased excavation capabilities and improved cycle times. A higher torque swing motor boosts power for backfill work involving swinging and usability on slopes, according to the company.
