Winters Bros. Waste Systems, West Babylon, New York, announced that it has purchased the assets of Huntington, New York-based Harbor Carting and Empire Waste Removal.
As part of the agreement, Harbor Carting and Empire Waste owners Eddie Colatosti and Ronnie Colatosti will join the Winters Bros. team and assist in the transition. Additionally, all employees of Empire and Harbor will transition to Winters Bros. as the company continues to grow its presence on Long Island.

Our goal is to exceed our customers’ highest expectations for solid waste collection and recycling services. The Colatosti family has served customers on Long Island for more than 50 years and have established an excellent reputation over time.”
“The sale to Winters Bros. is a perfect match,” Ronnie Colatosti says. “We’ve known the Winters Bros. family for many years, and we are very pleased and confident in their ability to take good care of our customers, our dedicated employees and the communities we serve.
