North American Recycling and Crushing LLC, a subsidiary of Birmingham, Alabama-based Vulcan Materials Co., has acquired Yorba Linda, California-based concrete recycling company Dan Copp Crushing.
Dan Copp Crushing was assisted in the transaction by Great Falls, Montana-based financial advisory firm D.A. Davidson.
The advisory firm says Vulcan Materials, which describes itself as the largest producer of construction aggregates in the United States, will expand its presence in Orange County and the rest of Southern California with the addition of the Dan Copp Crushing assets.
“The addition of Dan Copp Crushing’s capabilities to Vulcan Materials’ extensive California operations is a tremendous fit,” says Tim Sznewajs, D.A. Davidson’s managing director and co-head of Engineering and Construction Investment Banking. “We are pleased for both organizations and the market opportunities this transaction creates for the combined business.”
