Quality Components Co. (QCC), an oxy-fuel equipment manufacturer and supplier headquartered in Mentor, Ohio, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025.
Since its founding in 1975 as a repair shop for other brand-name torches under the name Quality Repair Co. to its full-service capabilities of today, QCC says it has been at the forefront of the oxy-fuel industry. The company adds that it has developed patented solutions for various end uses and applications and remains committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency productivity and profitability.
QCC produced its first torch in 1985, according to its website, after identifying the best features and components from existing torches, engineering solutions for common flaws and shortcomings and combining everything into its own design.
The company designed its patented flowmeter and QC-series torch tips in 2017 and claims to be the only oxy-fuel distributor that can produce a torch that can cut nonferrous material up to 70 inches thick.
As QCC celebrates its milestone anniversary, it says it is reaffirming its commitment to excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction.
