Metso Corp., a Finland-based global producer of aggregates processing equipment, is introducing several new products to the North American market at the 2024 AGG1 trade show in Nashville, Tennessee, this week.

Products to be debuted include TSE Series triple shaft screen, the Nordberg HR350e cone crusher and new LongLife wear parts for crushing and screening equipment.

Metso says its new TSE series screen is a high-performance horizontal screen that can be used in a wide range of wet or dry applications in coarse or fine screening. The TSE screens are designed for what Metso calls superior accuracy and efficiency in a compact installation settings, which can include urban demolition or highway recycling sites.

“We are proud to introduce the TSE Series screen which is tailored especially for the North and Central Americas’ market needs,” says Eduardo Freire, vice president at Metso. “We expect the new screens to have a large customer interest that can already be foreseen from the bookings and sold screens already before the launch.”

The company's Nordberg brand HP350e is engineered to meet the "evolving and constantly increasing performance needs" of the aggregates and mining industries.

“Compared to the first crusher in the series, HP200e, the new crusher, HP350e, belongs to a larger size class of crushers,” says Ilkka Somero, product manager at Metso. “We are excited to expand the Nordberg HPe series to bring to the market a wider offering of these high-performance crushers fit for different production purposes.”

Also on display at the AGG1 show will be information about several new wear part products designed to improve uptime and crushing performance and make aggregate producers’ operations more sustainable and profitable.

The new products include some in the Metso LongLife crusher wear parts product line, which the company says are designed to last 35 percent to 50 percent longer in all typical aggregates applications from fine crushing to railway track ballast production.

LongLife cone crusher liners could reduce the need for liner change-outs significantly, Metso says, therefore reducing costs, while also increasing both uptime and customer revenue, and improving safety.

“Almost every aggregates crushing application and their requirements are different,” says Joni Meronen, vice president at Metso. “Abrasiveness and hardness of the feed material varies a lot from soft rock to extremely hard rock. In addition, there are different aggregates operations from large industrial quarries to contractor crushing using mobile crushing plants.

“By selecting the best suited crusher wear parts for their requirements, aggregate producers can improve the crushing performance, reduce non-sellable material and improve energy efficiency. Improvements in these areas are directly improving aggregate producers’ profitability. With our new offerings and new products, we want to deliver the best crusher economy for all aggregate producers.”
