Lefort introduces track-mounted shear/baler/loggers

Company’s Crawler units are controlled remotely.

Belgium-based Lefort, with U.S. headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, has released what it says is the first track-mounted shear/baler/logger.

This self-propelled machine is immediately operable once it arrives in the yard with no foundation required, according to the company.

The Lefort line of Crawler machines are controlled remotely, meaning only one operator is needed to control the machine and its complementary material handler. Its compact design allows it to be transported on a standard trailer.

“We have engineered the perfect machine for our customers all around the world that have large scrap yards and multiple scrap piles,” says Christian Lefort, CEO of Lefort. “These shear/baler/loggers on tracks complement our product line, and we can now answer every customer’s request, whatever their needs. We have started to show these machines in our factory to our visitors, and the interest is exceptional.”
