At the Barden C&D Landfill in Graniteville, South Carolina, employees battled a fire early Feb. 28.
As reported by WRDW, landfill employees handled the situation around 5:45 a.m. Officials say the fire could be seen from the nearby interstate, but it has since been contained.
This is the third fire at the Barden C&D Landfill within the past year.
Last March, a bulldozer caught fire at the landfill, but according to the authorities, no one was injured. A few months later, crews responded to another fire at the landfill.
