Ed Turner, president and CEO of Allied Construction Products LLC (Allied CP), Cleveland, has added Sal LaCorte to the position of shear and demolition manager. In his new position, LaCorte will be responsible for the development of the sales activity for the attachments in Allied CP’s non-impact tools division including mobile shears and contractor’s mechanical grapples.
LaCorte has more than 20 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, including a previous stint at Allied CP as internal sales manager. His experience at the manufacturing level includes product engineering systems design, territorial field sales management and OEM sales management. LaCorte has served on the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc.’s (ISRI) Government Relations and Convention Committee and the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) Government Relations Committee.
Through more than 200 U.S. and Canadian distributors, Allied offers a complete line of excavator, loader/backhoe, skid-steer and mini-excavator mounted attachments, stationary rock breaking systems and material handling systems.
