HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America, based in Norcross, Georgia, and National Equipment Dealers (NED), based in Lexington, North Carolina, have announced a five-year distribution agreement designed to expand both Hyundai’s North American market reach and NED’s dealership territory coverage.
NED CEO Zack Kavanaugh and President and Chief Operating Officer Jesse Beasley recently visited with Hyundai executives in Seoul, South Korea, to discuss the new agreement, which establishes multiple Hyundai flagship stores as part of NED’s dealer footprint.
“This strategic alignment with HD Hyundai, along with our shared vision for growth and focus on new markets, will help us reach new Hyundai customers while providing exceptional product, sales and service support to a broader customer base,” Kavanaugh says.
The new NED branches will be Hyundai-branded stores situated in what the companies consider to be high growth potential markets.
The first such branch has opened in Jacksonville, Florida, while future locations in Fort Myers, Florida, and in Dallas and Austin, Texas, will follow.
The new branches will stock Hyundai inventory including compact excavators, skid steer loaders, larger tracked excavators, wheel loaders and off-road haul trucks, say the companies. The Hyundai-NED locations also will be well equipped with state-of-the-art service facilities and tooling to provide first-class service to Hyundai customers, according to the firms.
“HD Hyundai values our strategic relationship with NED," says Stan Park, president of HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America. "The new NED ‘flagship’ stores ensure high-profile presence for Hyundai in several fast-growing markets, with the further assurance of excellent customer support.”
