Norcross, Georgia-based HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America has added the La Crosse, Wisconsin location of Johnson Tractor to its dealer network.
The equipment dealer will sell and service the full line of Hyundai construction equipment to customers in west-central Wisconsin, including in the La Crosse and Eau Claire areas, according to Hyundai.
Janesville, Wisconsin-based Johnson Tractor operates a branch office in La Crosse, from which it will offer Hyundai sales and service.
“Adding Hyundai construction equipment gives us and our customers a great local option for the wheel loaders and excavators that we previously did not offer,” says Patrick Johnson, a manager at the dealership group. “West-central Wisconsin is experiencing strong growth in construction, agriculture and municipal infrastructure, and Johnson Tractor is well positioned to meet the needs of this expanding market."
Johnson Tractor started as an affiliate Clinton Implement, an agricultural equipment dealership in Clinton, Wisconsin. The company changed its name to Johnson Tractor when Ray Johnson and his son, Leo, acquired the dealership.
The rebranded equipment dealer moved its headquarters to Janesville in 1986 and has grown steadily over the years in Illinois and Wisconsin, according to Hyundai, and now has 11 locations.
Currently, Johnson Tractor is led by CEO Eric Reuterskiold, and many members of the Johnson family continue to work for the dealership group, says Hyundai.
“Hyundai is pleased to add Johnson Tractor to our North American dealer roster,” says Ed Harseim, North Central district manager for HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America. In addition to its longstanding success as an ag equipment dealership, Johnson also is a trusted business partner among construction contractors and local government equipment users."
HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America's product range includes crawler excavators, wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer and compact track loaders, crawler dozers, articulated dump trucks and hydraulic breakers.
