Eagle Crusher Co., a Galion, Ohio-based manufacturer of crushing and screening equipment, hosted the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Manufacturing Express this month at its Bucyrus, Ohio, manufacturing facility.
The event was the tour’s 55th stop, and it celebrated the company’s employees and highlighted Eagle Crusher’s contributions to the local economy.
Eagle Crusher employees and their families gathered with representatives from AEM, local officials and members of the local community to recognize Eagle Crusher as an industry pioneer, the company says.
“This was a great opportunity for Eagle Crusher to celebrate its employees and recognize the significant impact that the company has on the local communities of Bucyrus and Galion,” Eagle Crusher President Mike Tinkey says.

AEM Manufacturing Express is the largest public engagement initiative in the association’s 130-year history. Traveling across 22 states with more than 80 stops, the tour showcases cutting-edge technologies, skilled workforce and breakthrough processes shaping the future of equipment manufacturing. In Bucyrus, attendees took a guided factory tour and played industry-themed online games.
“The AEM Manufacturing Express traveled to Ohio to celebrate the grit, determination and can-do spirit of the people who build things in America and to remind everyone that when the equipment manufacturing industry is strong, communities like Bucyrus are also strong,” says Kip Eideberg, senior vice president for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
