Doosan has launched a waste and recycling kit for the company’s DL-7 range of wheel loaders. It is the first kit of its kind for Doosan wheel loaders and is designed to help operators work safely in the hazardous conditions that often accompany waste handling and recycling applications. This includes contending with airborne dust, dirt and other dangerous particulates and materials.
According to a news release from Doosan, the kit is available for all Doosan wheel loader models from the DL200-7 to the DL480-7. The main features of the waste and recycling kit include:
windshield guards;
rim covers;
road light protection for the front and rear;
arm cylinder cover;
articulation guard;
front frame cover;
belly protection for the front, center and rear;
air intake mesh;
wider fine air conditioner condenser; and
solid tires.
Several of these features will be available as mix-and-match options, so customers can tailor their wheel loaders for specific applications. Doosan also is preparing an aftermarket version for those customers who decide to install the kit later.
Operators can work safer and more confidently on job sites with the kit. Additionally, Doosan is providing a wider fine air conditioner condenser as standard to facilitate easy cleaning and maintenance.
The company says the waste and recycling kit matches other features of the DL-7 range, such as the air compressor, high lift arm, quick coupler, transparent bucket and more. For maximum performance and versatility, all of the new DL-7 wheel loaders are equipped standard with a third spool valve with a settable flow and a detent function, providing a constant flow for hydraulically driven attachments.
DL-7 wheel loaders can also transport soil, sand, aggregates and other materials for the construction, demolition, mining and quarry industries. Doosan also offers options to provide more work tools for a better match with applications, further increasing output.
The kit is not yet available in North America, though the company is working to bring it to Canada and the United States. However, the time frame for when it will be available yet undetermined, according to Doosan.
