Carrier Process Equipment Group acquires Heyl & Patterson’s thermal processing division

The acquisition adds new products to CPEG’s bulk processing capabilities.

Louisville, Kentucky-based Carrier Process Equipment Group Inc. (CPEG), a holding company comprised of Carrier Vibrating Equipment, Inc. and S. Howes LLC has acquired Carnegie, Pennsylvania-based Heyl & Patterson's Renneburg thermal processing division. The new acquisition adds several new products to CPEG's bulk processing capabilities, including rotary dryers, calciners and coolers.

Schieber, president and CEO of CPEG and Carrier Vibrating Equipment. "The expanded product line will allow us to better serve our diverse customer base with the most complete line of energy-efficient, cost-effective thermal processing solutions available."

CPEG is a 100 percent employee-owned holding company with operations in Nivelles, Belgium and Shanghai, China. The company plans to increase staff in Louisville and Carnegie as a result of the recent acquisition.

Heyl & Patterson rotary dryers, calciners and coolers are designed to handle a broad range of bulk materials, powders and sludges. The company is also a supplier of fluid bed dryers and flash dryers.
