Bateman Manufacturing, an Ontario-based metal handling solutions manufacturer, has launched its latest product, the 210 series orange peel grapple.
Engineered to provide superior performance and versatility, according to the company, the grapple boasts features that cater to the needs of the scrap and recycling industries. Its design allows for efficient handling of various materials, the company says, including metal scrap, demolition debris and other bulk recyclables.
Key features of the 210 series include:
- an improved rotator guarding for greater impact protection;
- a larger pin diameter and improved bushing design with seals for longer life and optimized work time;
- fully enclosed cylinder guards for zero chrome exposure;
- a more robust body for durability and greater cylinder protection as well as a thicker frame design for better pin support and hose guarding;
- an improved tine design for optimal scrap penetration and material collection; and
- a thicker design with hardfacing on the tip area for durability.
The grapple made its debut at the ISRI2024 convention in Las Vegas in mid-April.
“We were excited to introduce our new 210 series at ISRI 2024,” says Jason McNeil, division director at Bateman Manufacturing. “This product represents our commitment to innovation and providing our customers with tools that improve efficiency, safety and productivity in their operations.”
