One-Click LCA signs up AECOM for decarbonization platform

Dallas-based infrastructure consulting firm AECOM has entered into a multiyear global agreement with One Click LCA Ltd. to access the latter company’s sustainability platform for the built environment.

Finland-based One Click LCA offers a suite of carbon assessment and other sustainability tools for buildings and infrastructure projects "without geographic limitations." The collaboration enhances AECOM’s ScopeX approach that has been designed to deliver a 50 percent carbon reduction outcome on major client projects.

The agreement grants AECOM access to One Click LCA’s verified platform, enabling comprehensive carbon data collection and seamless integration into the ScopeX portal, says the Finnish firm, helping AECOM demonstrate measurable progress to clients.

Recycling methods and recycled-content building materials, including steel, aluminum, concrete, cement and polymers, typically fare well in scorecards designed to demonstrate a low carbon footprint and may also show favorable life cycle analysis results.
