EAGLE HYBRID TRAXX CRUSHER
Eagle Crusher Co. has introduced the Hybrid Traxx, its latest track-mounted impactor plant.
• The new design features diesel electrical power for both the impactor and the plant, with hydraulic operation powering the tracks.
• The Hybrid Traxx is transportable, with a compact design that can work in tandem with other stationary or mobile equipment.
• The machine has a 42-inch by 40-foot conveyor fixed at a 10-foot long discharge height.
• The machine is equipped with an UltraMax II 4144 impactor and a sculptured three-bar, solid steel rotor.
• Powered by a 325-hp engine, the mobile plant features a 5/8-inch steel hopper, a 42-inch by 32-inch feed opening and a 25-hp variable speed feeder control.

GENESIS DEMOLITION RECYCLER
Genesis Attachments has introduced what it describes as a more economical tool for processing concrete, the Genesis Demolition Recycler (GDR).
• The attachment is designed for third-member use on machines in the 45,000-pound class and larger.
• The GDR delivers 115 tons of crushing force at the tip, a 32-inch jaw depth, a jaw opening of 35 inches and a 5.5-second (at 66 gpm) cycle time.
• The GDR has the largest jaw Genesis has ever offered on a tool that mounts on a 20-ton class machine.
• The tool can be custom configured according to the end user’s specific needs.

JOHN DEERE 75D MID-SIZED HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR
John Deere has introduced the 75D mid-sized hydraulic excavator.
• Weighing 17,637 pounds, the machine is designed for light residential, site development and landscaping duties.
• The 75D has a 54-hp diesel engine certified to EPA Interim Tier 4 standards and Deere’s Powerwise engine/hydraulic management system.
• The excavator’s "E" working mode can save fuel by running more efficiently compared to the previous model’s "P" mode, while providing similar production.
• Optional rubber tracks let users cross driveways and sidewalks without damage, making it well-suited for landscaping and utility jobs on existing properties.
• A pilot-control operated box-constructed integral blade is beneficial for grading and backfilling.

ATLAS COPCO DP 2000 HYDRAULIC PULVERIZER
Atlas Copco Construction Tools LLC has introduced the DP 2000 hydraulic pulverzier attachment.
• The new demolition pulverizer attachment offers 292 tons maximum cutting force and 94 tons of crushing force at the jaw tip.
• With a service weight of 4,520 pounds, the unit is suitable for carriers in the 18 to 27 metric ton weight class.
• Operating at a maximum pressure of 5,075 psi, the DP 2000 uses a straight jaw design that allows the pulverizer’s jaws to open 30.7 inches.
• The DP 2000 is constructed of components created through Finite Element Method (FEM) design. FEM is designed to ensure the attachment has the required strength to withstand the extreme loads of demolition applications while keeping the unit lightweight.
• An advanced speed valve on the DP 2000 allows shorter opening and closing cycle times.
• The unit hydraulically rotates 360 degrees.
• A built-in rotation protection system reduces wear on the carrier, and hydraulic cylinders are guarded for full protection from outside debris.

DUST CONTROL TECHNOLOGY DUSTBOSS DB-45
Dust Control Technology has introduced the DB-45.
• The DB-45 is designed to control airborne particles and surface dust while using less water and manpower than traditional hand spraying techniques.
• The portable DB-45 is designed for indoor and outdoor recycling areas, waste processing, rock/aggregate crushing, bulk material handling and other dust-generating operations in confined or covered areas.

DOPPSTADT NEW TROMMEL OPTION
DoppstadtUS has announced the availability of its new auto stop/start sensor, the latest in its line of fuel-saving trommel options.
• The option involves an infrared sensor above the hopper that measures the depth of material in the hopper.
• When material in the hopper falls below a specific point, the trommel will automatically shut down the drum, feeder and conveyors, and power down the engine to an 800-rams-per-minute idle.
• As the hopper is reloaded, the trommel automatically powers up, restarting the machine to begin screening again.
• This feature can increase fuel efficiency, especially for facilities run by one or two persons, according to the manufacturer.
• As the operator loads material onto a truck, or retrieves new material to load for screening, the trommel will cycle down, rather than run empty and burn unnecessary fuel.
• In addition, by eliminating operation at low-load conditions, material spiking is significantly reduced, resulting in a much cleaner fines product and higher overall product quality, according to DoppstadtUS.

MORBARK BRUSH RAKES
Morbark Inc., a manufacturer of recycling systems, wood grinders, forestry equipment, tree care equipment, wood chippers and sawmill equipment, has introduced its line of brush rakes.
• Morbark’s brush rakes are designed with close bottom tines to allow the picking up and carrying of stumps, logs, brush, pallets, C&D material and regrind.
• Brush rakes are available with 11 or 13 tines.
• The rake design allows dirt to shake out through the bottom tines eliminating feeding large quantities of dirt into the grinder.
• These rakes take less than five minutes to attach to a user’s front-end wheel loader with two hydraulic hoses providing power to the top tines.
• The brush rake allows the user to bring material to the grinder, instead of bringing the grinder to the material.

BANDIT QUICK-CHANGE ROTARY DRUM CHIPPERS
Bandit Industries Inc. has introduced the Quick-Change Rotary Drum Chipper.
• The chipper is designed to make the knife changing process simpler and less time consuming.
• Removing the shaft from the rotor in the Quick-Change System is simple and can be easily completed without damaging the rotor, according to the manufacturer.
• Bandit offers two different styles of rotary drum chippers, including 12-inch and 16-inch long drums.
• Bandit’s Quick-Change Drum Chippers are designed to be dependable and long-lasting.
