MORBARK DEBRIS SHEARS
Morbark has introduced two new debris shears, the Model 40 and Model 60.
• The Model 60 handles wood up to 60 inches in diameter and can split and shear material both in and out of the ground.
• The weld-on tips and blades are replaceable, making maintenance quick and easy.
• The Model 60 is rated for a carrier with a weight classification between 55,000 to 80,000 pounds.
• The more compact Model 40 is also equipped with a replaceable blade and tips and rated for 30,000- to 50,000-pound carriers.
• This shear is operated from existing carrier hydraulic circuitry and no additional hydraulics are necessary.

BOBCAT B-SERIES MINI TRACK LOADERS
Bobcat Co. has announced improvements to its mini track loaders with the introduction of the B-Series MT52 and MT55.
• The B-Series includes a new safety feature—an auxiliary hydraulic continuous flow shutoff lever.
• Other improvements include adjustable tilt steering on the directional control handle and a ride-on platform.
• The rubber tracks are now made of a new, more durable compound, and the weight of the machine is distributed evenly through the tracks for a low ground pressure.
• The MT52 mini track loader has a rated operating capacity of 520 pounds; the MT55 has a rated operating capacity of 550 pounds.

VERMEER HG4000TX GRINDER
Vermeer has introduced a new horizontal grinder to its product line. The self-propelled Vermeer HG4000TX features a wide infeed table, Tier 3 certified diesel engine, track undercarriage and the patented duplex drum.
• The HG4000TX is a fully self-propelled unit that allows the operator to effectively maneuver around job sites without the need for additional support equipment.
• The track undercarriage is equipped with 20-inch double grouser track pads that provide increased flotation on soft ground conditions and access to remote job sites that tow-behind units can’t reach.
• A 440-hp Cat C13 diesel engine features an in-motion, variable-pitch fan that automatically reverses to purge debris from the radiator and engine compartment, reducing radiator blockages.
• The patented duplex drum features eight hammers and 16 cutters, offering optimum cutting performance and simplified maintenance.
• The HG4000TX also features the Vermeer-exclusive SmartGrind system that stops and reverses material from feeding into the hammermill when engine rpm drops below an efficient operating range.

HITACHI ZX75US-3 EXCAVATOR
Hitachi Construction has introduced the ZX75US-3 excavator.
• The standard weight of the machine is 17,743 pounds and it has a maximum swing speed of 10.5 rpm.
• The ZX75US-3 can handle bucket attachments ranging in size from 0.40 to 0.66 cubic yards.
• The new shape of the backfill blade provides better crowding performance and additional machine stability.
• The swing boom enables parallel digging to walls, guard rails and foundations.
• The ZX75US contains the turbo-charged Isuzu 4LE2X engine and Hitachi’s patented HIOS III hydraulic system.
• Cab features a suspension cloth seat, controls, multilingual LCD monitor, slide-open front glass and tinted, transparent roof hatch.
• Two engine modes can be selected to match engine rpm to the operating conditions and application.
• The E (economy) mode for light-duty work and the P (standard) mode controls the engine speed from slow idle to fast idle.

TELSMITH VIBRO-KING TL SCREEN
Telsmith Inc., an Astec company, has introduced its new line of inclined vibrating screens, the Vibro-King TL series.
• The Vibro-King TL features a seal design that eliminates contact seals, reducing maintenance and providing longer service life.
• For greater bearing life, all TL shaft assemblies use wide-series bearings and polished shaft bearing journals.
• Large-diameter shaft castings boost oil volume to allow lower operating temperatures and fewer oil changes.
• The Vibro-King TL also features multiple flat and crowned deck designs, which allow the unit to work with all screen media types. Also, deck spacing between the top and middle decks has been increased to simplify screen media changes.
• The Vibro-King TL is available in both single- and dual-shaft models and in sizes ranging from 5 feet by 14 feet up to 8 feet by 24 feet. The line is also available in both standard and heavy-duty models with all HD models featuring ½-inch thick side plates.
• Spring mounts incorporate a "jacking bracket" providing safe, speedy access for spring maintenance.

METSO MOBILE CRUSHER
Metso Minerals has launched a new track-mounted, mobile device for on-site crushing. The device provides a new solution for primary crushing, combining features of its Lokotrack track-mounted crushing plants and the Lindemann series of crushing equipment.
• The result is a highly flexible crusher that can operate independently of electricity and road networks for up to three days of operation with no need for refueling.
• It can serve a number of locations, can be integrated flexibly in a machine assembly or can also be leased out at short notice.
• The crusher has been designed both for difficult areas and extreme inclines, as well as for difficult materials such as mattresses, carpets, railway sleepers, tree trunks and even thick rolls of paper.
• Average throughput is between 30 and 50 tons per hour.
• Efficient crushing of bulky material is crucial for the availability of the entire processing plant, as well as for the performance of the downstream sorting and separation technology.
• The machine serves well in waste collecting and demolition sites as well as in forests or for agricultural purpose to reduce bulky debris and other bulky residue.

TEREX HYDRAULIC TRANSVERSE CUTTING UNITSTerex Corp. has introduced seven hydraulic transverse cutting units to the North American market.
• Featuring transmissions with patented gear-reduction technology, these attachments are designed for use with the Terex family of excavators (models ranging from 4,400 pounds to 132,000 pounds) and with Terex tractor loader backhoes for excavation, scaling and demolition work.
• Terex hydraulic cutting units are designed for trenching in pipeline construction; building renovation; demolition; road construction; landscaping; tree removal; scaling, profiling; and underwater and dredging applications.
• The Terex cutting unit range is comprised of seven models—WS15, WS30, WS45N, WS60N, WS90N, WS120N and WS150N—all designed with heavy-duty spur gears and bearings, powered by a low-speed, high-torque hydraulic drive motor ranging from 24 hp to 190 hp and a hydraulic flow ranging from 8 gpm to 158 gpm.
• Three standard cutting heads are available for use with Terex cutting attachments: excavation, scaling and demolition. The excavation drum is best suited for soft to medium-hard rock; the scaling drum is designed for applications in soft to medium-hard rock where a precise or smooth surface is required; and the demolition drum works best in medium-hard to hard rock and concrete.
