Metso Outotec has announced the launch of Index, an online data collection tool. Features of Index include:
- designed to increase productivity, optimize the cost-benefit ratio and identify limiting parameters for machinery
- transfers relevant data from the machine directly to the customer’s equipment
- equipment data can be visualized, displayed and analyzed in the Index web portal
- available as standard equipment in the EtaCut II, EtaCut, PowerCut/LUC, PowerCut Wings/LIS and LU shears

Komatsu WA480-8 loader
Komatsu, with U.S. headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, says its WA480-8 loader can be adapted for use in multiple applications. Features of the loader include:
- ideal for the handling of aggregates and other construction and demolition materials
- curved side edges of the 7.2-cubic-yard bucket are built to minimize spillage, and the internal space and shape provide smooth material flow
- integrated load meter system in the cab also allows operators see how much material is in the bucket
- low-profile tires with increased ground contact provide further load stability

Fecon RK6015 mulcher
Lebanon, Ohio-based Fecon has introduced its new RK6015 mulcher. Features of the RK6015 include:
- designed for use with most standard skid steer loaders
- can be matched with Avant-type wheel loaders and other carriers able to provide 17 to 27 gallons per minute (gpm) of hydraulic flow
- brush-cutting tool is ideal for rental fleets, as well as landscapers, property managers, municipalities and others tasked with managing brush and vegetation
- operates at 2,400 revolutions per minute (rpm) and can easily shred brush and small trees up to 5 inches in diameter

Rotochopper Screener Conveyor
Rotochopper Inc., St. Martin, Minnesota, has announced the release of its new Screener Conveyor. Features of the conveyor include:
- designed to separate fines from desired end products while minimizing the need for additional handling equipment and operational processes
- can be used as a standalone screener or part of a larger material handling solution
- creates a second marketable product, such as soil amendment, animal bedding and solidification material
- screen hole size up to ¾ inch and production up to 350 yards per hour
