Lindemann midsize shredder
The TXS 69x90 is a new midsize shredder from Germany-based manufacturer Lindemann Metal Recycling aimed at cost-conscious customers. The company says the shredder is designed for quick installation and operation, with maximum flexibility and a standardized, modular “plug-and-play” design. Key features include:
- a power rating between 1,000 and 2,500 horsepower
- the ability to process up to 60 tons of mixed scrap or car bodies per hour
- a 40-degree inclined feed chute with twin-drive roller technology and two hydraulic motors
- electric and hydraulic equipment that can be preinstalled in containers and delivered ready for connection

Yanmar mini excavator
Designed for job sites of all sizes, the ViO35-7 mini excavator is a new offering from Grand Rapids, Minnesota-based construction equipment manufacturer Yanmar Compact Equipment. The 8,047-pound excavator boasts improved productivity and performance features, the company says, along with a higher torque swing motor to boost power for backfill work. Key features include:
- a 3-pump hydraulic system for less risk of slowing down during simultaneous operations
- increased maneuverability and 25 percent faster travel speeds under load
- an auto kickdown feature for easy transition to slower tasks

OilQuick AB coupler
Working in collaboration with Normet, a Finland-based technology company, OilQuick AB, Sweden, has developed the new Xquick coupler system. Based on OilQuick’s quick coupler technology, the Normet Xquick coupler allows operators to change tools and attachments in seconds without any workers around the machine. The coupler eliminates the need for manual tool changes, reducing risk and enhancing productivity in underground operations, OilQuick says. Key features include:
- high-grade steel with adjustable mounting for most excavators
- automatic hose closure and dust-protected oil connections to promote cleanliness and safety
- locking bolts and H-cylinder with double hose break valves to ensure secure attachment at full pressure
