Major Wire Industries Flex-Mat Modular Plus
Designed to withstand harsh screening conditions caused by materials as abrasive as granite or basalt, the Flex-Mat Modular Plus, offered by Condiac, Quebec-based Major Wire Industries, is designed for a long, efficient life of screening aggregates. Its features include:
- independently vibrating screen wires that run at a rate of 6,000 to 10,000 strokes per minute
- wire developed at the molecular level to create tensile strength able to withstand 220,000 pounds per square inch, or 1,516.6 megapascals
- a large amount of open area that lends itself to efficient screening without blinding or pegging
- long wear life and minimal downtime because of the screen’s flat surface, which promotes even wear of the wire
