Superior Industries Portable Sentry HSI closed-circuit plant
Superior Industries Inc., Morris, Minnesota, has announced plans to publicly unveil its Portable Sentry HSI (horizontal shaft impactor) closed-circuit plant at ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas in March. The machine features a patent-pending recirculating conveyor that centralizes the crusher feed for the full use and extended wear life of its blow bars. Other features include:
- a maximum feed size of up to 31 inches and product sizes ranging from 1 inch to 10 inches at a rate of 990 tons per hour
- mix-and-match side liners that can prolong the machine’s life and minimize the cost of replacement components
- the option to choose a two-blow bar or four-blow bar rotor
- access to the crushing chamber via several mainframe inspection doors, including at the top, side and rear of the chamber

Harris Products Group, Mason, Ohio, has expanded its line of V-Series 62-5 straight, hand-held cutting torches that deliver “the performance and quality of the Harris 62-5 while also offering the benefit of using the Victor-style conical tips that customers may already have in stock,” Harris says. Additional features and benefits of the updated V-Series 62-5 include:
- easy-to-replace FlashGuard check valves that prevent the reverse flow of gases for safety
- the ability to cut up to a 12-inch plate, depending on the specific torch model selected
- all brass and steel construction, including the cutting level
- a design compatible with all fuel gases or alternative fuels

Volvo Construction Equipment, with North American headquarters in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, has upgraded its L20 and L25 Electric wheel loaders to provide more comfort and efficiency while maintaining strong performance. Their features include:
- a top speed of 12.4 mph and parallel linkage that delivers high breakout torque in a variety of applications
- the ability for operators to preheat and defrost the cab at a designated time for quicker startup
- a spring-applied, hydraulic-released wet-disc brake that eliminates some maintenance costs and downtime associated with disc brakes
- the ability to fully charge in six hours with a 240-volt socket or Level 2 charging station
