Cards Recycling & Disposal announces acquisition of HTS LLC

Cards Recycling & Disposal, Springdale, Arkansas, has announced the purchase of HTS LLC, a Pineville, Missouri-based company that hauls residential and commercial waste streams for customers in the McDonald County area.
According to a news release, the company’s operating footprint includes the southern Missouri areas of McDonald County, Pineville, Goodman, Anderson and Lanagan.
“We look forward to picking up where HTS LLC left off,” says Dan Christensen, founder and president of Cards. “The waste disposal services provided by HTS LLC integrate perfectly within our current operating footprint, and we are proud to bring the HTS LLC customers and employees into the Cards family.”
Cards says it will acquire all HTS assets, employees and contracts, which will operate under the Cards brand.
This acquisition adds more than 2,500 new customers to Cards’ expanding footprint, Christensen says.
This is the 11th acquisition for Cards in the past four years. Other acquisitions have included 4D Sanitation, Fayetteville, Arkansas; Best Trash, Richmond, Texas; R&S Waste Disposal, Defiance, Iowa; The Trash Man, Webster City, Iowa; Altes Sanitation, Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Bernice Sanitation, Afton, Oklahoma.
The acquisition closed Jan. 31. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
