Liebherr shows off lineup of material handling, demo equipment

Liebherr USA Co.’s Construction Equipment division was proud to be the lead sponsor for NDA’s Live Demolition event. The event provided a unique opportunity to explore the many options and configurations provided by Liebherr for the industry. Event attendees experienced Liebherr’s machine features, capabilities and commitment to delivering solutions for a number of demolition challenges.

During the Live Demolition, participants operated the R 936 demolition excavator with a Rotar RDC 32R Combi Shear to crush concrete and the LH 30 Material Handler with a Liebherr orange-peel grapple to move mixed scrap material. Participants also experienced the one-piece Heavy Duty Straight Boom with casting in all high-stress areas, and the large-diameter pipes on the boom and stick of the R 936 demolition excavator, which produces faster working cycles for any hydraulic tool. Operators of the LH 30 witnessed its impressive performance in scrap handling and sorting operations, as well as the hydraulic cab elevation and four-point outrigger with individual controls.
The Construction Equipment division of Liebherr USA Co. offers an extensive line of earthmoving, material handling and demolition equipment, from excavators to wheel loaders to crawler tractors. Liebherr’s full line of purpose-built heavy duty demolition equipment and attachments are specifically designed to handle all stages of the demolition and deconstruction process.Spec breakdown
