Rotochopper announces partnership with Lindner

Rotochopper Inc., St. Martin, Minnesota, has announced a new partnership agreement with Spittal an der Drau, Austria-based Lindner Recycling Inc. Under the new agreement, Rotochopper will now offer sales representation and service support for the DK and Atlas models of the Lindner shredder product lines.

“Rotochopper’s knowledgeable sales and service teams have been working with customers in the wood waste and C&D markets for over 30 years,” Rotochopper COO Jamey Brick says. “We are excited to offer these customers a durable and high-performance shredder from Lindner that will present additional capability to accommodate waste with higher contamination.”

Lindner Recycling Inc. was founded in 1948. With three production facilities in Austria, and over 300 employees worldwide, Lindner’s product portfolio ranges from stationary and mobile shredders for waste management to complete systems for plastic and wood recycling.

Volvo Penta appoints new president

Volvo, Chesapeake, Virginia, has appointed Martin Bjuve, CFO and senior vice president business office at Volvo Penta, to the role of president of Volvo Penta of the Americas. According to a news release from Volvo, Ron Huibers, current president of Volvo Penta of the Americas, has decided to transition to a new role within Volvo Penta. Huibers has been with Volvo for 26 years and has served as president of Volvo Penta for about seven years.

“The team, customers and industries we serve here have been exciting and rewarding. This role has been the best of my long career,” Huibers says. “I am thankful to have worked with great leaders and teams and established strong partnerships. However, as we have planned, I want to spend more time with my family, which has been difficult to balance given the travel demands of being president. The time is right to hand over the baton as the Americas continues into the next stage of its journey.”

“With 26 years of distinguished leadership across Volvo Group at Volvo Penta, Volvo and Mack Trucks, Volvo Finance and Volvo Construction Equipment, Ron’s skills and experience developing business, teams and partnerships have paid dividends to the company and stakeholders,” adds Bjorn Ingemanson, president and CEO of Volvo Penta. “On behalf of Volvo Penta, I would like to thank Ron for his valuable contribution. His experience will still be available to the company, as Ron will help represent the company and support me as senior advisor.”

The moves became effective Jan. 1.

Bjuve has been with Volvo Penta for 17 years and is a member of the Volvo Penta executive group. As senior vice president and CFO, his responsibilities have included overall strategy development, as well as process and IT. Martin has developed a broad commercial and customer experience in Volvo Penta. Prior to being appointed global CFO, Martin was based in Chesapeake for five years, first as CFO for Volvo Penta of the Americas, and later as VP of customer support. Earlier roles included CFO of the European region as well as responsibilities for sales of spare parts and accessories and dealer development in the Nordic countries.

“During his many years at Volvo Penta, Martin has developed into a commercial leader, with a strong strategic vision. He will continue to build on the strengths that Volvo Penta has established in North and South America over the years. I am pleased to have Martin take on the leadership role [and he] will, of course, be a key person in developing our current business in the region,” Ingemanson says.
