Fintec Debuts Track Mounted Impact Crusher
Fintec Crushing and Screening has announced that it will introduce the 1440 track mounted mobile impact crusher at ConExpo-Con/Agg in March 2008 in Las Vegas.
The new model is designed for use in quarrying, demolition and recycling applications.
Powered by a fuel-efficient Cat C-13 diesel engine, the Fintec 1440 is carried on a maneuverable tracked undercarriage and incorporates a Sandvik PR301D impactor with a fluid clutch drive. Fed via a two-deck pre-screen, the crusher is a four hammer open style rotor with a pair of hydraulically-adjustable impact curtains that deliver high outputs of material including granite, slate, limestone, brick and asphalt. A relatively low weight and compact dimensions—the unit has an operating weight of 109,790 pounds and is 50 feet, 1 inch in length in transport configuration—means the Fintec 1440 is transportable in a single load, allowing it to be readily moved and redeployed for maximum utilization, according to the manufacturer.
Optional extras include a dolly unit, belt scales and radio remote controls.

Bandit Introduces Tree Chipper
Bandit has introduced its newest product, the Model 3590 whole tree chipper. The chipper can transform logging slash, land clearing waste, whole trees and brush into a saleable chip product faster and more efficiently than ever before.
The secret to the Model 3590’s power lies in its newly designed discharge system and one-of-a-kind feed system: the most powerful feed system ever developed on a whole tree chipper.
The feed system features a 38-inch x 40-inch opening that can accept material up to 30 inches in diameter. The four powerful feed wheels—two vertical wheels on each side and two top feed wheels set on a diagonal—work to effectively crush and compress limbs, guiding it to the oversized drum. Once at the drum, eight 12-inch long knives reduce the material into uniform, saleable chips, which are then ejected from the chipper through the high-velocity chip discharge system.
The Model 3590 is available with a host of features and options, including optional high-capacity backhoe-style loader with a roomy operator’s cab giving the operator excellent visibility. The Model 3590 is available with engine options starting from 600-horsepower.
