3. Rayco stump cutter. Rayco Manufacturing, a Wooster, Ohio-based manufacturer of wood stump grinding equipment, has introduced a four-wheel drive option among its RG35 Super Jr. stump cutters. Features include:
- four-wheel drive option is available on new machines as well as a retrofit kit for older RG35 Super Jr. models for better traction for climbing slopes and chip piles
- designed to give wider cutting dimensions, lower center of gravity and more traction and floatation while cutting
- equipped with 35 horsepower

4. Stanley LaBounty mobile shears. Mobile shear manufacturer Stanley LaBounty, based in Two Harbors, Minnesota, has introduced the MSD800 mobile shear, which has been designed to fill the market of small and mini excavators and backhoes in the 6- to 10-ton weight range. The company also introduced its MSD2250 mobile shear, designed for smaller excavators and carriers in the 55,000- to 100,000-pound weight range. Other features of the two mobile shears include:
- MSD800 is designed for use in scrap processing and interior demolition applications
- MSD800’s 15-inch opening will fit and process most lighter ferrous and nonferrous materials, including pipe, cable, concrete pillars and I-beams
- MSD2250 has a 30-inch jaw opening as well as reversed cylinder technology, a heavy-duty rotation group and patented wrap-around blades
