Indian Company Orders Second Rockster Recycler Crusher
India-based, M/S Popular Construction has ordered its second Rockster crusher at the exhibition Bauma ConExpo India (BC India) in Mumbai. The company bought its first Rockster R900 Impact crusher with Duplex system in November 2010.
M/S Popular Construction, a division of Popular Infra Resources, is presently crushing in four different locations. The company had set a target to reach 2 million tons crushed by the end of 2011 and plans to expand its activities to eight locations.
The head of the Popular Infra Resources group, Mr. Mahesh, has 22 years of experience in the industry, including quarrying, mining and crushing. Until now he has owned and used more than 15 mobile crushers and screens.
The company says it located Rockster, an Austrian specialist in mobile crushing and screening machinery, by searching for a manufacturer of innovative, cost-effective and compact crushers.
“Rockster is offering the only mobile crusher in the world having the Duplex system, which allows us to switch over from impact to jaw crusher or vice versa in less than three hours in site conditions,” Mahesh says.
The hydrostatic drive system allows clockwise as well as left-handed rotation of the crusher. Therefore, both units (impact and jaw) can be exchanged on the same base frame. This helps obtain a quick and efficient adaptation to individual material requirements, according to Rockster.
Rockster Austria has a direct presence in India with its subsidiary, Rockster Recycler India PVT. Ltd. in Bangalore, which includes a spare parts warehouse on site, after-sales service and support, local assembly and step-by-step manufacturing programs for some of its products. This distribution and service center is managed by Niyogi Subhash (who has more than 20 years of experience), in conjunction with other experienced colleagues.
“We have a technician from Rockster Austria here together with local engineers to guide and train our staff on the newly ordered machine,” says Mahesh.

MB America Moves to Larger Facility
MB SpA, Vincenza, Italy, has announced the expansion of its U.S-based facility. The manufacturer of earth-moving and demolition crushing and screening equipment, now in its 10th year, has corporate offices in the U.S., Japan, Germany and France.
MB America Inc. opened in April 2010, in Reno, Nev., and quickly established a substantial national client base, the company says. MB says “dynamic growth” caused it to outgrow two Reno office locations in just 18 months. In November 2011, the company made a permanent move to what it says is a much larger Reno facility, with 2 acres for live demonstrations, equipment/parts inventory and a growing staff. Potential customers in the western U.S. region now have a more convenient way to get a first-hand look at the equipment in action, the company says. MB America also keeps systems in stock in Pennsylvania and Texas.
MB Crushers are excavator buckets with an internal hydraulic jaw-crusher system that the company says are simple and easy to use. They attach to any excavator weighing nine tons or more and are designed for on-site demolition, excavation, roadwork, quarries and other applications. The operator is the only person needed to attach, operate and dismantle the equipment, adds the company. Traditional team projects can easily turn into “a one-man show” with MB Crushing and Screening Buckets, according to the company.
MB America claims these crushers are eco-friendly and consistently the first choice for companies wanting to be part of the “greening” of America. Recycling demolished materials “on the spot” allows the recycled product to be reused on the same projects or to be sold. Dust is minimal and noise levels are very low, the company adds. MB America says it will continue striving for technological excellence.
The company says interaction with the public will always be part of its mission of understanding and acting on the needs of consumers. More information is available by calling toll-free, 855-622-7874, or by visiting MB America’s new website at www.mbAmerica.com.
Genesis Attachments Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Genesis Attachments, Superior, Wis., has announced it has achieved certification to ISO 9001:2008 standards.
The ISO 9001:2008 certification was awarded by the National Standards Foundation. This achievement is the latest milestone in Genesis’ ongoing focus to improve operations by employing the latest manufacturing, management and standardized service techniques, according to Mats Cedar, Genesis’ general manager.
“Genesis was founded on a belief that excellence in manufacturing, backed by good customer service, is at the root of any successful endeavor,” Ceder comments. “This certification both underscores and formalizes that commitment. The entire Genesis team has embraced the push for ISO certification and worked hard to make it happen. In recent years, we’ve become real proponents of lean manufacturing methodology, as well as the A3 standardized approach to problem solving. This certification is a great accomplishment for everyone at Genesis and will provide direct quality- and service-based benefits for our customers.”
The ISO 9001:2008 standard is a set of quality practices designed to ensure the use of effective internal processes that are consistently monitored and continually improved. Genesis’ accreditation is part of a larger division-wide initiative by its parent company Paladin Brands. “We always strive for excellence; this is just proof that you can make a good thing even better,” Ceder says.
