Atlas Copco, Commerce City, Colo., has introduced a new line of hand-held hydraulic breakers for concrete, asphalt and frozen ground applications, plus trenching, tie-tamping, spike driving and general demolition jobs. The company says the four new models include:
- A heavy handle suspended from a dampened pivot pin for decreased vibration emissions
- Two moving parts for minimal wear and few parts to service
- Portable power packs or the hydraulic outlet on any excavator, backhoe, etc., are the power sources for the breakers
- A closed-loop system of operation to keep out dirt and moisture
