Komptech Jumbo Trommel. Komptech USA, based in Westminster, Colo., has unveiled its new Cribus 3800 drum screener. Features include:
• The 7-foot, 3-inch drum has 15 percent more screen area and length than other drum screeners, according to the company
• Large hopper avoids “bridging” of material and is intended to make it easy for larger bucket loaders to load
• Oversized conveyors and 5.5-inch spacing between drum and sidewalls are designed to facilitate smooth screening of larger sizes
• Extra-large tires help to provide mobility, stability on soft ground
