At Your Service Disposal signs new contracts

Austin, Texas, C&D materials hauler announces six new service contracts.

Austin, Texas-based At Your Disposal Waste Services (AYD), a container rental and construction materials recycling company, has announced signing four contracts to service building and renovation projects in the Austin area and two new contracts to provide waste hauling services.

One of the contracts is to provide dumpsters and hauling of debris during the construction of a 270,000-square foot office building in northeast Austin for Texas Mutual Insurance, under general contractor Harvey-Cleary Builders. AYD indicates it will be supplying two 40-yard roll-off dumpsters for metal and construction and demolition (C&D) materials recycling. The containers will be emptied and hauled twice per day.

"The new Texas Mutual Insurance building is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-certified job,” says Chuck Herb, owner of AYD Waste Services. “This certification is designated to buildings that are designed, built and operated in a way that minimizes non-renewable energy use and reduces water usage, while providing a healthy setting in which to work or live.”

Once Harvey Cleary completes construction of the building, Texas Mutual Insurance has asked AYD to provide permanent commercial recycling and waste management services. This will include the rental and regular hauling of either a front-load or a roll-off dumpster.

The second contract for permanent waste management services is with Austin area retailer Countryside Nursery and Landscaping. “Countryside has signed a five-year permanent contract with us to discuss converting to a zero waste system,” states Herb. “We are helping them reconfigure their entire infrastructure for getting on board with zero waste at their main headquarters and then at each specific job site where they do landscaping.”

The other three construction contracts are as follows:

  • Rand Construction, which is performing an interior remodeling of the Frost Bank Financial Center in downtown Austin. For this project AYD is providing a 30-yard roll-off dumpster for commingled recycling;
  • Equipment Management Group, which is renovating the interiors of three Big Lots locations in the Austin area. AYD has placed one 30-yard commingled dumpster at each job site; and
  • Centennial Contractors, which is performing work at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, a public botanical garden outside of Austin. AYD is supplying a 20-yard dumpster for commingled recycling.

AYD bills itself as offering roll-off dumpster rental, waste disposal services, compactor rentals, construction debris removal and hauling services for recyclables and discarded materials.
